Behind the Scenes Video's
I have used these videos of behind the scenes videos for inspiration for my own photoshoot as it would allow me to get a good idea of how I would want to go about shooting my own photo's.

Practice Images
These are my 5 test shots that I did for my magazine. As you can see, the best images are the medium-close up shots as these show more detail on the model and they also show more of the background that has been used. In the long shot, it's too far away from the model and you can also see the edges of the background which gives it a much more unprofessional feel. It also feels less personal which won't have a very good effect when it comes to a magazine front cover.
Price and Time of my Magazine
Due to my target audience being young people/students, I will need to set my magazine price quite low, and from the feedback I got from my focus group, I think that I should price it at around about £2.00 and it needs to be published monthly to make this a feasable cost. By setting my magazine at £2.00 it will make it much more affordable and it will appeal more to my target audience.

Genre Inspiration Video's
I have chosen this particular video because the Lumineers are exactly the type of band that I would be featuring on my magazine. This is because they are the right genre and they would appeal to my target audience well.
The same goes for this band, The Crookes, as they are a relatively unheard of band that I feel would appeal greatly to my target audience. It's a good example of the kind of music that I want on my magazine.
Ben Howard is a good example of an artist that I would like to include in my magazine as he could be considered inspiring by my target audience as he produces some amazing music uninfluenced by mainstream labels.
